(8 OCT 1890) Married, at the
residence of the bride’s mother, Oct. 8, 1890, in the town of
Jackson, Washington Co., Wis., by Rev. W. G. Cooper, H. Harris,
Esq. of St. Paul, and Miss Jennie Salter. Mr. Harris, now a
promising attorney of St. Paul, is a graduate of the Literary and
Law departments of the State University and will be remembered by
people in the vicinity as a former principal of the Unity High
School. He is a young man of sterling unimpeachable character, and
by persistent effort in the face of many obstacles has steadily
advanced to the position he now holds. His bride is a young lady,
who by means of her kind disposition, ladylike behavior, gentle and
sympathetic manner, has won herself high regard in the esteem of
her acquaintances. Their many friends wish the newly married couple
a full measure of prosperity and success in their journey through
life. Mr. and Mrs.
Harris visited relatives and friends in Unity and Colby from Friday
to Tuesday. On the latter day going to their future home in St.
Paul.
